DIY School Years Child's Memory Kit

As a mom, I totally understand the struggle of keeping your child's school papers and art projects organized and off the counter! The real challenge was finding a place to store special cards, athletic photos and awards, crayon masterpieces, report cards, school photos, Mother’s Day poems, Father’s Day drawings, and all those memorable milestones! I don’t keep everything, but there are definitely some treasures worth saving.

I’m excited to show you how to create a DIY Memory Kit for under $30 each. Say goodbye to the clutter of keepsakes on your kitchen counter!

Supplies Needed:

Step 1:

Order the supplies needed (listed above).

Step 2:

Open the Canva template using the link above or here. Click on the text to edit the template with your information and print on the Avery 22827 Rectangular labels. When printing, make sure to NOT have "scale to fit" selected.

Step 3:

Remove the label and apply it to the storage bins. Begin in the center and smooth it outwards to prevent bubbles.

Step 4:

Download our free filing labels here. Or, label your filing folders by hand based on your needs. For best results, we recommend using a heavier card stock instead of regular printing paper.

Step 5:

Download this free folder coversheet for each grade (link below). You can print it on sticker paper or adhere it to the folder with tape or glue. For best results, we recommend using a heavier cardstock instead of regular printing paper.
